Third Srimmage

Our third scrimmage was against another local men's club team. Their team consisted of mostly Air Force members with a few players that we had played against in our previous scrimmages. We traveled to Eglin Air Force base and played on a small athletic turf (black rubber pellets) field. The club team was not as good as the Honduran team we played during our first scrimmage but was better than the team we played against during our second scrimmage. They did not have enough players to field a full 11 so we sent 3 of our players to play with them.

Warming up for the scrimmage
It took some adjusting to get used to the smaller sized field and the fast pace of the turf, but once we did, we we controlled most of the play. The go-pro set up on the sideline was able to grab a short video of Kyle finishing off a through pass.

With all the re-adjusting between our teams, I don't remember the final tally, but I believe we won by a couple goals. One of the vans stayed back after the game to do some shooting drills in order to give the keepers some extra work. We all re-grouped later that night and then I went out to dinner at a sports bar with a couple guys to watch the Badgers smash Nebraska.
